Now, Will is the most influential conservative columnist of the last 25 years, and Dreher is a smart, superb writer.
But I doubt very much whether any opinion piece from any pen is going to destroy the anti-anti-Miers movement. Especially as Wilma will be over Florida about then, and folks may have other priorities than Will’s latest column.

K-Lo was rushed, but I wonder if she considered the implication of “we’ve got some guys with principles out there,” applied, say, to Dean Starr, who has pretty much given every thing a civilian can to the conservative cause and also supports Miers?
I still don’t think things are remotely close to a conservative schism. But don’t be surprised if a few Tony nominations head towards the anti-Miers caucus.
