Great weekend ahead. In America, at least.  Fall and football in most places.  The crescendoing of the political season.  Here’s a check list of things to do:

Visit the website of the Warrior Strong Race Team. Rear Adm. Mike Shatynski (USN, Ret.) was on Friday’s show with me talking about this inspiring project.

Contribute to the Cory Gardner campaign.  Best place to make your last contribution.  Believe it or The (very lefty) Denver Post endorsed Gardner Friday in a clear signal that the lights have gone out for Democrat incumbent Mark Udall (and his Democrat governor colleague John Hickenlooper, aka Governor Gumby.) If you have extra still, then Thom Tillis and/or Dan Sullivan in the Senate races, Bob Beauprez and Doug Ducey in the statehouse contests.

Sign up to walk a precinct in any of the key state races.  Really committed?  Get a hotel in Arkansas or Colorado and walk for Tom Cotton or Cory Gardner.  You can sign up at their websites.

Next, listen to the long interview I conducted Thursday with Major General Giora Romm (IDF, Ret) about his new book Solitary, which will be posted here:

Watch the Browns beet the Steelers Sunday. (Read a game preview by Terry Pluto –America’s finest sportswriter.)

And of course worship God as you see fit, which is the last thing that will be happening in any territory controlled by IS and certainly not in Kobani.  The president who argued we needed to intervene in Libya to prevent a massacre there is now only doing the minimum as real massacres and atrocities pile up in ISISland.
