Tim Burns and Charles Djou for Congress
Good news for the anti-Democrats in the country on the eve of the Tea Parties —Republican Tim Burns is to fill the seat that was held by John Murtha, and Democrats remain deeply divided between their two candidates in Hawaii, opening the door further to Charles Djou, the Republican City Councilman from Honolulu who might pull out an upset in the heavily-Democratic district there as Democrats divide between Ed Case and Colleen Hanabusa.
Both Burns and Djou need support in the closing weeks of their campaigns.
More good news: The NRCC has a November target list published, and has begun to flesh out the key votes. The list still needs links to the GOP nominee where one exists, and to votes on card check, cap-and-tax, and the stimulus, but it is going in the right direction.
