Mark Steyn led off Thursday’s show (transcript here) and I agree with his assessment of the “on empty” aspects of the Obama campaign.
The Washington Post’s Chris Cillizza and RealClearPolitics.com John McIntyre were also guests and they are not partisans, but do their best to survey the data and report what it appears to indicate. Team Obama won’t like what they read. (Both transcripts are here.)
There is no way to read all the polls and review all the evidence and not conclude that Mitt Romney continues to lead and continues to surge, and the most troubling number across all the polls is the president’s “ceiling” at 47-48%.
That’s the number of doom for the president and any pundit who doesn’t discuss the implications of a 47% ceiling for an incumbent isn’t telling you the truth.
