OK, so the fundraising run-off between USC’s John Campbell and Ohio State’s Josh Mandel went Campbell’s way, aided no doubt by the much larger donations of the 1% USCers who rallied to the Trojan cause.
But that was only the semi-finals. Now for the finals: John Campbell v. Tom Cotton.
Cotton is an Arkansas farm kid who happened to go to Harvard and Harvard Law before joining the Army and serving with the 101rst in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Now Cotton is a rookie candidate, and Campbell is a member of the powerful Financial Services Committee.
Both now face-off in my ActRight challenge of the week, which will run through next Tuesday. Click anywhere on this post and you will be taken to the landing page which follows the play-off. Dig deep for either, but I hope the Crimson won’t let down the cause.
