The Talking Presidency
My Washington Examiner column reviews the president’s long record of talking and talking.
Now rather than focus on pushing the executive branch to respond to such things as berm permits and boom placements, President Obama is skipping the Congressional authorization part and moving directly to demands upon BP.
Watch and see if the ACLU or any other part of the American left raises an objection to unilateral action by the executive even as he leaves undone that which he is authorized to do.
