With the expected announcement from South Dakota Senator Tim Johnson that he will not seek re-election in 2014, the GOP now counts two pick-ups in the fairly secure column–that of former Governor Mike Rounds as a replacement for Johnson and the expected success of Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito in West Virginia to win the open seat left vacant by the retirement of Senator Rockefeller.

These two races, and the two key governors contests of 2013 –Ken Cuccinelli’s in Virginia and Chris Christie’s in New Jersey– are part of my ActRight.com list in the right column.  Visit it and make a first contribution to the recovery of the country.

And say a prayer that Congressman Tom Cotton decides to enter the race against hapless liberal Senator Mark Pryor in Arkansas.
