“The Plucky Smart Kid With The Fatal Disease: A Life With Cystic Fibrosis”

This may surprise regular listeners to my radio show and readers of this blog: I have never laid eyes on Dean Barnett. I wouldn’t know him if I ran into him with a snowmobile.
But he is a true friend. That’s the marvel of the internets –that I, or you, could become friends in the best sense of the word with someone you had never met.
Barnett is an extraordinary fellow, and his writing is well known to everyone who visits here. He’s gone off to power-up The Weekly Standard’s virtual presence, and he is missed.
But he’s still the go-to-guy behind the microphone when I am off on travel, and if you have any interest in inspiration, you’ll read his offering on living with a disease generally thought to be fatal.
Bravo, Barnett. May many more pamphlets –and books– follow.
But I still hate the Red Sox.
