The burning of the Danish Embassy in Damascus is an outrage for which no excuse can be offered or should be accepted. Embassies are the sovereign property of the represented government, and attacks against them are attacks on the country. In a police state like Syria, such attacks are not spontaneous, any more than the assasinations in Lebanon were free of Syrian finger-prints. Time for the Assad regime to go.
