carried articles this morning on the beginning of the “Fortnight for Freedom,” organized by the country’s Roman Catholic bishops to rally support behind religious freedom.
I will be joined by Maureen Fitzgerald of The Catholic Association in hour three to discuss their part in the campaign, and will be broadcasting next week from the Alliance Defense Fund’s annual lawyers and media conference to put the spotlight on religious freedom all week long.
The new book has a chapter on the president’s attack on the Catholic Church and its institutions, and the growing chorus of voices demanding that that assault end has got to make the Chicago wizards worried. The Supreme Court may take care of the problem for the president by striking down the entirety of Obamacare, but if not, the president can expect to be answering questions about his unprecedented effort to force the Roman Catholic Church to abandon its core teachings from now until the election.
