The first show was July 10, 2000. Many thanks to all of you who have listened over the years, and to the many guests, recurring and one-time, who have made the show a great success. We look back and forward today with Mark Steyn, James Lileks, Frank Gaffney and Congressman John Campbell among others. At 52, I am hopeful that I can keep sitting down behind a mic for at least a couple more decades. Since the election of 2000 it has been a steady stream of dramatic stories and tumultuous times, and I am grateful to Salem Communications for the network that allowed me (and Duane, Adam, Anthony and a long line of interns) to play a small part in the national debates in this ear of extraordinary challenge and change.
Well wishers can join our celebration by sponsoring a child in the Dominican Republic through Children International, contributing to the Semper Fi Fund, by ordering a copy of Letter to a Young Obama Supporter for a young voter in their life, or by ordering a copy of Townhall Magazine for your entire family.
