On Thanksgiving Eve: Brian Ash and ArriveInKenya.org
I will spend part of the Thanksgiving eve show with Mark Steyn and Lileks, and of course an hour will be given over to “conversation starters” for the table tomorrow (“So Sarah Palin was right about those death panels, eh?”).
But I will also feature a remarkable young man who represents the best of America.
Brian Ash graduated from the University of Colorado last May, and promptly headed off to very rural west Kenya to co-found the Keumbu Rehema Children’s Home for Kenyan orphans on two acres of land.
BEFORE beds, everyone slept on the ground.
AFTER the beds have been installed, the kids (and myself) happily relaxing while others sleep.
Kids looking at 30 new pillows in awe.
The first fifteen mattresses have arrived!
