As noted in the post below, this morning’s Townhall.com column digs deeper onto how radio is changing the broadcast world, again.
Radio will also propel the transformation in higher ed and campaigning.
Part of the impact on campaigns is of course via the identification of supporters, like those who have flocked to ActRight to donate to Mitt Romney’s campaign, Ted Cruz’s campaign –the primary in Texas is next week– and of course the campaign to save Scott Walker from Big Labor’s big attempt putsch. Before you head out on a Memorial Day Weekend break, please drop by and drop some coin in one or all three or more of these key campaigns via the ActRight banner to your right. All the stories on big donors and SuperPacs shouldn’t create an impression that small donations don’t matter. Team Obama knows they do and the Chicago Gang is harvesting in those fields.
When you contribute to Romney or any of the other candidates, do more than that good thing, set up the means to contact your friends and engage your own network in the success of the campaign.Politico thinks Scott Walker has become a conservative hero because of his refusal to buckle to the unions or give up on the massive campaign against him
. He is in fact admired because of his policies and because of those policies, conservatives are willing to rally to him, and use their own networks to help him survive the onslaught.Hundreds of you listening to the program this week have helped out Scott Walker. Thanks, and if you can do more, please do. If you haven’t yet done so, please send a contribution to the Walker campaign
You are at the center of your network. Use it.
