Two other things to consider.
First, Syria is burning. Recall our intervention in Libya was based on the desire to stop a slaughter of civilians. A much greater slaughter is underway, and the president is mute. Read this story from The Guardian’s Martin Chulov on the looking religious war there and ask yourself whether the U.S. and the president have done anything to stop the disaster that has already occurred and the much bigger one that is coming. Obama is simply invisible.
But not inactive. He is busy raising money and spending money. The money he raises he will use against the GOP, the money he spends belongs to our grandchildren.
