Mitt Romney’s forceful answer -“Believe me, they noticed”– will define this debate. The president’s dismissive remarks regarding the size of the fleet and “horses and bayonets,” will haunt him, as will the repeated turns the debate took to the economy.

Romney’s momentum will continue unbroken, and his demeanor and especially his poise will be the takeaway for any undecideds that are left. He looked like a president, and our president looked (again) petulent.

Romney won the debates decisively, which means he will win on November 6. Some things are simple, and this is one of them.
