NRCC Chairman Pete Sessions announced ReverseTheVote.org on Tuesday afternoon. This morning more than $73,000 has been raised, which will be split equally among the campaigns of the eventual GOP nominees running against the 24 most vulnerable House Democrats who voted for Obamacare. Each of those Democrats is named at the website. I think they will have noticed by now that their “yes” vote on Obamacare is already an issue in 2010, and will become more of one the closer the bill comes to passage.
This is an excellent start, and given that the donations are by far of the $25, $50 and $100 variety, the message is being sent to Democrats in both the House and the Senate that yes votes on Obamacare are going to be the key issue between now and next November.
Help stop Obamacare with a contribution to ReverseTheVote.org. Read more at my Townhall.com column. And please e-mail your friends and fellow activists and encourage them to contribute to the fund.
