I don’t think my audiences in the middle of the “polar vortex” are going to want to hear about The Happiest Life much today, not when wind chill is, for example, -46 for my friends listening on WWTC AM 1280 The Patriot in the Twin Cities.

I have lined up two perfect guests to mix in amid the breaking news and stories about the 2014 Obamacare rollout follies and the Muslim Brotherhood’s being driven underground in Egypt –again, and Lawrence Wright’s take on the NSA stories from the New Yorker.

First, Allison Levine climbed Everest twice, skied both the north and south poles, and made the “Seven Summits” –the highest peaks on every content, making her a “Adventure Grand Slam” holder.  She has a new book out On The Edge— which is a fascinating look inside the world above 18,000 feet, where it is very, very cold.
