The Beat Obama Committee examines the falsehoods of Barack Obama's abortion comments on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade.
Recall last week that the Washington Post/ABC poll put president Obama seven points ahead of Governor Romney and with huge margins among women and in fuzzy categories such as “likability.” The Post’s Dan Balz and I debate the merit of the polling (transcript here) and my Washington Examiner column argued the whole presidential polling business is nonsense unless it is of likely voters in the dozen or so swing states that will decide the election.

If there was any doubt at all that the Post/ABC poll was produced from an absurdly skewed sample, today’s “news” from the New York Times/CBS poll showing that the race is “tied” will end it. This “news” comes two days after the Gallup showed Romney ahead, and these are all before we pack in the after-effects of another round of Scandal Land, the game the Chicago gang has been playing since it blew into DC in 2009.

The president is in deep, deep trouble because he is a failure and his Administration is a failed presidency. He has failed because his left-wing ideology doesn’t work. Voters know this.

Now factor in the reluctance of many people to speak bluntly to pollsters what they really feel and how they will really vote. The president who promised his arrival would coincide with the end of oceans rising can’t bail fast enough to save his sinking ship.
