More On The “Common Core” and Thursday’s “Entrepreneurs’ Hour”

I have added transcripts of this week’s conversations with Dr. Bill Bennett and the Washington Post’s education writer Jay Mathews on the “Common Core” over at the transcripts page, and still more interviews will appear there as they are transcribed, such as today’s with AEI’s Mike McShane.  The torrent of email and calls on the subject tell me that this is one of those issues that will take most of MSM unaware but which will have profound impact on many political careers.  More coming on Thursday’s and Friday’s shows.

I will be in sacramento Thursday for “Ask a Jew 4.0” with my pal Dennis Prager and a special guest, Dr. John Jackson, the president of William Jessup University.  A few tickets remain on sale, but not many.  Each of these conversations about theology and culture have been attended beyond our expectations and confirm for Dennis and me what most folks in talk radio have long known: The public is hungry for serious, sustained conversation on important subjects, conducted in a civilized but nevertheless searching atmosphere of genuine inquiry.  MSM would be amazed at what would follow its genuine commmitment to real exploration of key controversies…like that surrounding “the Common Core.”

Tomorrow also features an “Entrepreneurs’ Hour, this one featuring Mark Fitzpatrick of, Matt Sprankle of, and Dave Hemler of Always a hit with the would-be and actual businesspeople in the audience, this trio will also have particular appeal to real estate progfessionals, doctors and health care executives and, yes, pastors and anyone who believes in the power of prayer.
