I teach the campaign finance cases this week, beginning with Buckley v. Valeo and going through the briefs in Wisconsin Right To Life.  I will conclude with the ConLaw equivalent of a happy ending: That a brief opinion will issue from the new court, overrruling it all, noting “Oops,” and the relevant phrase of the First Amendment: “Congress shall make no law…abridging the freedom of speech.”
