Jonathan Chait, Bush-hater, On Hillary’s Non-Anger Anger
Just finished taping a long interview with Los Angeles Times columnist Jonathan Chait, most famous for his September 29, 2003 New republic article “Mad About You: The case for Bush haterd,” which began “I hate President George W. Bush.”
In yesterday’s column, Chait argued that the charge by RNC Chair Ken Mehlman that Hillary “seems to have a lot of anger” was weird and unfounded.
I suspected that anyone as angry as Chaiot admits to being might not in fact be the best judge of who is angry. Sort of like a contestant in “The Biggest Loser” telling you that somebody’s in great shape.
So Chait and I talked it through for almost 40 minutes. The result will play between 4:30 and 6:00 PM, Pacific, and a transcript will be up at Radioblogger.com later.
