The Daily Caller’s Jim Kuhnhenn reports that the GOP candidates are the beneficiaries of a 6 to 1 advantage in spending on their behalf from independent committees like American Crossroads and Crossroads GPS.

Over at the Washington Examiner, Mark Tapscott is laying out the flow chart of Big Green’s pipelines of campaign cash to Democrats makes you think that the left has enormous amounts of money flowing into their coffers as well.

“Officials of a dozen top Big Green environmental groups contributed more than $14.5 million to congressional and presidential candidates in 2008,” Tapscott notes, “and through the second quarter of 2010 with 96 percent of the total going to Democrats, according to an Examiner analysis of federal campaign data.”

What is truly shocking is the amount of federal money the Big Green groups received, a portion of which flows into the employees’ pockets and right back to the Democratic candidates. The private sector companies supporting Republicans are at least spending their own money, not recycled taxpayer dollars.

The Washington Post too has a story on the money rushing into the system: “New ‘Super Pacs’ Bringing Millions Into the Campaign.”

Raise the size and aggressive of the federal government and turn it into an engine of private sector wealth distribution and of course the private sector is going to respond by doing what it can to push back. The left vastly overeached and greatly underestimated that American generally and especially private sector business people want to maintain American freedom and American greatness, just like Big Green wants socialism light and has been willing to spend taxpayer dollars to gain that objective.
