“Disease, Malnutrition Risks Grow in Haiti”

Friday, January 22, 2010  |  posted by Hugh Hewitt

The Wall Street Journal reports on the growing threats to the Haitian survivors.

Malnutrition is best combated through Food for the Poor, which you can contribute to online or via 866-714-3663.

The treatment of disease and repair of broken and crushed limbs still untreated after ten days takes doctors, which is why I have been giving so much radio attention to the docs, nurses and medics of Team Rubicon, and encourage you to support them via their paypal button or, if you are a doc or health care professional, figure out some other way to assist. Big media attention helps them of course, and the story is an amazing one. It seems they are also very willing to welcome experienced field doctors and nurses, though checking with Matt at on that point is prudent.
