Today’s third hour is The Entrepreneurs’ Hour and will feature Chris Cox of LessonTrack and Michael Withem of Fusion Web Technologies.
The hour is sponsored by my friends at ERSOP, and before I actually get to the entrepreneurs, I will talk with two business visionaries. Both have written books that new entrepreneurs need to read, ASAP.
Professor Clayton Christensen is among the most influential professors of business in the world, having been among the most popular of teachers at Harvard Business School for many, many years. His previous books on innovative disruption have all had enormous impact on the country’s private sector. Now he, with the help of a very recent student and the former editor of the Harvard Business Review –James Allworth and Karen Dillon respectively– he has written How Will You Measure Your Life? that will quickly come to rival any other business book for impact, and it will reach far beyond entrepreneurs overnight.

How Will You Measure Your Life? by Clayton M. Christensen, James Allworth and Karen Dillon

The interview with Christensen will air in my program’s second hour.
Then, at the start of hour three, just before the young entrepreneurs, I will talk with Michael Hyatt, Chairman of Thomas Nelson Publishing, about his new book Platform, Get Noticed in a Noisy World, which turns marketing upside down and refocuses every entrepreneur and every seller of every product on building their own platforms before they launch their business or idea.

Did I mention in the first hour I will be talking with the New York Times‘ David Brooks?
Today is why you don’t want to miss even a little of even one show.
And thanks to the hundreds of listeners who have pushed our ActRight candidates over $100,000 in contributions in under two months. There is a long way to go, but thanks for all you have done and please keep doing it. As you can see in the post below, the disarray in the Chicago Gang is matched only by the chaos in the economic plans of the president. A big broom is needed and on its way, but your help in small donations of $50, $100 or more is vital to Mitt Romney and all these candidates, especially this week to Scott Walker and Ted Cruz. You can contribute via this link.
Finally, congrats to Tom Cotton who won his Arkansas primary last night and is headed for the November showdown for an open seat previously held by a Democrat. With a pick-up like Arkansas’ 4rth, the GOP’s hold on the House will be secure and the infusion of even more new blood to join the tea party class of 2010 will power reform forward in the fall.
