It has been my privilege to travel a great deal of the world and of those travels the foreign city I have spent the most time in is London. This evening’s attacks hit me like a brick to the head – stood there, seen that, coulda been me. How does a Christian respond?
Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. (Rom 12:15)
Show me a sign for good,
That those who hate me may see it and be ashamed,
Because You, O Lord, have helped me and comforted me. (Ps. 86:17)
do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests for the in of others. (Phil 2:4)
So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32)
The house of the wicked will be destroyed,
But the tent of the upright will flourish (Prov 14:11)
Make no mistake, this was an evil act of wicked people.
