Last week Senator Orrin Hatch threw some roundhouses towards his likely primary opponent Congressman Jason Chaffetz.

On Monday Congressman Chaffetz was on to reply, and the transcript is here. He doesn’t leave much doubt in my mind that he is running.

The congressman agreed to debate the senator on my show. I doubt that will happen until there’s a formal announcement of candidacy from the congressman, but when it does, it will be a fair and extended conversation between two talented, smart conservatives.
