Today’s program will include an interview with Maryam Rostampour and Marziyeh Amirizadeh, converts to Christianity who were arrested by the Iranian regime in 2009 and spent 259 days in Iran’s Evian prison, perhaps the world’s most notorious prison.  Their story is both inspiring and awful, so don’t mniss our conversation about their new book Captive in Iran:

Hour three will be far more encouraging about this world as I talk with two new entrepreneurs: Kevin Haney, one of the founders of Student Leader Seminar, and Ed Portillo, producer of the reality show All Summer Long.  They deal mostly with smart, hope-filled ambitious young people, not fanatics, so of course it will be a happier conversation.
