A few days ago Terry McAuliffe announced on my show that he was about to become a Knight of Malta.
Now I know a few Knights of Malta. Knights of Malta are friends of mine. And Terry's no Knight of Malta, as Knights of Malta defend the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church on the sanctity of the life of the unborn.
More than a few Catholics heard or read the exchange, and here at the end of the week we find that Terry won't be a Knight of Malta.
Perhaps by the end of next week, the Washington Post will decide it doesn't want military-hater William Arkin as its "national security" writer.
