The Catholic bishops have told their members who are Members of Congress what the truth of the situation is. This is crystal clear: A genuinely committed Catholic cannot vote "yes" on Sunday.
The idea that an Executive Order could resolve the legislation's abortion subsidies is in fact an admission that the bill subsidizes abortion. All such presidential declarations are instantly reversible with the stroke of a presidential pen, which legislation of course is not. Thus the idea that EO could be meaningful is risible --a complete collapse of the argument that a "pro-lifer" could vote for this bill.
To vote yes tomorrow is to forever and conclusively forfeit any claim to be "pro-life."
