Barone, Podhoretz and Sullivan
Michael Barone, per usual, has a precise and illuminating take on the Miers nomination. Podhoretz, per usual, has the best one liner. And Andrew Sullivan, the Ronnie Earle of the blogosphere, gets classy.
If you assume as I do that Podhoretz is correct, what possible political advantage is to be gained by calling on him to withdraw the nomination? The same political advantage that Cindy Sheehan sought when she called on him to meet with her?
